Attention Regarding Orders Shipped Outside the U.S.A.
If your order is to be shipped outside the United States of
America, please apprise yourself of your government's taxes, tariffs, customs
and excise taxes, VAT, etc. These charges are NOT included in the cost of your
order, and may be considerable. Mandarava cannot refund the cost of your order
if it is impounded in Customs. In addition, your government may have
restrictions on what products you may import to your country--please follow
those restrictions.
Note that statues and other heavy items require more postage
than lighter items like jewelry or incense. You will be given a shipping
estimate after entering your delivery information. Please note: We
make every effort to charge you only the actual shipping/handling required for
your order. An estimate of this amount will be displayed on the Payment, Order
Review and Order Receipt pages. Receipt of your order will be confirmed by us
via email. If you are shipping within the Continental US, your actual
shipping will probably be lower than the amount that will be shown on those
pages. If, for any reason (foreign delivery, special delivery, etc.) your
shipping amount exceeds the amount stated on those pages by more than $1, we
will contact you via email for confirmation of the total amount.
All of your billing, shipping, and payment information is SECURE. Your
credit card is NOT charged until after we receive your order and review it.
Overview of our on-line ordering process:
1. When you press "submit" above, the ordering process is initiated.
2. A Billing Information page will appear that will
allow you to enter your Billing information (name, address, etc.)
When you are done, press "Submit Billing Info" at the bottom of the page.
3. The next page that appears will allow you to enter
your Shipping Information. If your shipping information is the same
as your billing information, just press the "Shipping Info Same as Billing Info"
button near the top of the page, or, fill in your shipping information and press
"Submit Shipping Info" at the bottom of the page.
4. The 3rd page that appears will ask for your payment
information and comments or special instructions. Here you may enter your
credit card information, or, you can tell us if you will be paying by Paypal,
check or money order, or by phone. Press "Submit Payment Info" when done.
5. The 4th page that appears displays your order
and your billing, shipping and payment information for your review. Please
review all information. If you need to re-edit something, there are buttons at
the bottom of the page for re-editing Billing, Shipping, or Payment information.
If all of your information is correct, press "Submit Order" at the bottom of the
page. This step is vital, since your order will not be sent unless you
submit it here.
5. The 5th and final page is your receipt. You will be
contacted via email to confirm your actual total including any corrections or
adjustments in your shipping/handling. Usually, if you are shipping within the
Continental US, your shipping will be less than the amount quoted. You
will not be charged until you have replied with final confirmation of your order
amount.
Remember: All information you enter the Billing,
Shipping and Payment pages is SECURE.
Privacy Policy: Mandarava does not share or sell your
personal information with anyone other than the bank or financial institution
involved in completing the sales transaction.
Cancellations:
If you need to cancel your order, you must do so within
24 hours of placing the order to avoid a 20% restocking fee. This is because
we order your items
from the manufacturer, and we are charged for the
item and for its delivery. If you cancel your order in time, we can
avoid placing the order with the source manufacturer. Naturally, when an order is cancelled
after the item has been ordered from the manufacturer, we have to return
the item(s) to the manufacturer (if they will accept them), plus we have
to pay shipping twice (once for receiving the item and once for shipping
it back). Since we are a small company, this is a hardship for us.
We hope you will understand.
Returns
Some returns may incur a restocking fee--please read
below. Please inspect the items in your order as soon as you
receive them, and notify us within 5 days if there is a problem.

Regular Returns
If you wish to return or exchange an item for reasons other than damage,
defect
or error, please notify us within 5 days of receipt of your order to
obtain a Return Verification Number and return instructions. Items to be returned or
exchanged must be received by us within 15 days of your purchase. Items must be resalable
and undamaged. If packaged, item must be in original packaging, and packaging must be
undamaged. Special orders, custom orders, and body products (fragrances, bath
salts, etc.) are NOT returnable unless the item has been damaged in shipping (see
"Shipping Damage Claims" below). There is a 20% restocking fee and
customer agrees to pay all freight charges on items returned for any reason other than
damage, defect or error.
Returns due to: Damage, Defect or Order Error
To avoid a restocking fee, please inspect the items in
your order as soon as you receive them, and notify us immediately
(within 5 days) of damage, error or defect.

Shipping Damage Claims:
All claims for
merchandise damages in shipping MUST be made to us by phone or email within 5 days
of your receipt of your order so that we may file a claim with the shipper. You will
receive an Adjustment Verification Number--please write it down! You will also receive
instructions for returning the merchandise. Merchandise should be kept in original box
with its packaging (as you received it) for possible inspection by delivery carrier.
Mandarava cannot accept responsibility for damages or if these procedures are
not followed. Please note that shippers normally refund on damage claims within 30-60 days
of receipt of claim--we have not control over that. You may be required by the shipper to
fill out appropriate paperwork certifying the validity of the claim, and we will require
your timely assistance in that procedure in order to get your claim processed as quickly
as possible.
Order Error Claims:
If your order is short
or incorrect in any way, PLEASE notify us by phone or email within 5 days of
receipt of your order to obtain a correction or credit. Errors reported after that
time cannot be corrected.
Item Defect Claims:
Any item found to be defective should be reported to
us by phone or email within 5 days of receipt of your
order. Please notify us by phone or email to obtain a Return Verification Number and
return instructions. Defect must be due to inherent product defect, not damage
due to shipping, misuse or mishandling of item. If defect is due to shipping, please
follow the procedures above in "shipping damage claims" and notify us by phone
within 5 days.
